Kinja'd!!!

An interesting detail: each shock has a remote reservoir, and it appears that in the front they both have a cooler.

Some other interesting details:

Kinja'd!!!

I love how the door panels have impressions for the roll-cage.

Kinja'd!!!

It appears the wiper controls are still set-up for right hand drive, even in this left-hand drive car. Also notice on the B-pillar what appears to be a seatbelt cutter.

Kinja'd!!!

Carbon headlight bucket.

Those RHD wiper stalks are really getting to me bad.

I’ve sat in a few full on rally cars and they are sooo impressive. The way those carbon door cards just fit around the roll cage is impressive. The doors themselves are also stupid light

RHD wiper stalk because of the paddle shifter on the right side of the steering column. Lights and turn signals get pushed onto buttons elsewhere in the car since they don’t often need to be used on stage but you want the driver to have quick access to the wipers.

Makes sense. Never really gave it much thought.  Handy that Subaru effectively had a parts-bin solution available.  These were still the pull-towards for single wipe stalks, which are nice.

This is surprisingly accurate, thanks for sharing the latest revision of the schematic.

I actually don’t think that i s a shock cooler, if you’re basing that on the right front shock. I think that cooler is connected to the engine from it’s right side (you can see 2 small blue hoses). Besides, I don’t see any cooler for the driver side shock reservoir .

I wish they’d allowed some of the cooler suspension mods in Rally, though. I remember a UK company was developing cross connected shocks and hydraulic swaybars.  The idea was when a wheel took a bump the pistons in the shock and pistons connected to the swaybars would distribute pressure to the rest of the suspension to provide an added downward force for extra traction.  It was wild, apparently too wild for WRC.

I think you’re right. I didn’t follow the lines closely enough.

That  suspension setup sounds interesting!

I’ll have to see if I can dig up any information on it. I recall reading about it in Racecar Engineering back in the early 2000's.
